Total Warrior welcomed over 25,000 people to its Great Northern Mud Run at Bramham Park, Leeds this weekend and raised tens of thousands of pounds for partner charities.

Total Warrior celebrated its 13th year, with over 16,000 people taking part in The Great Northern Mud Run at Bramham Park in Leeds this weekend.

This weekend saw over 7,000 juniors taking part in the Junior Warrior course, including school children from 60 local schools and the North Yorkshire and Central Yorkshire Scouts. Over 16,000 people took part in the main course event completing either 6km or 12km of impressive obstacles. There were also 200+ Ultra Warriors taking part on Sunday who powered through at least two laps of the 12km course. Their challenge was to complete as many laps as possible in 5 hours. Anyone who completes an astounding 5 laps gets free entry for life to the event!

This year’s top Ultra Warriors are:

Amelia Monaghan 3.5 laps in the 5 hours (female)
Russell Foord who completed 4.5 laps in the 5 hours (male)

This year’s event also hosted over 10,000 spectators who joined in with the festival atmosphere, cheering on the participants and enjoying the onsite food, drink and live music. It is free to attend The Great Northern Mud Run as a spectator and makes for a great family day out.

Every year Total Warrior works with partner charities to raise tens of thousands of pounds for local, regional and naRonal charities. Total Warrior’s 2023 partner charities are: St Gemma’s Hospice, Heel & Toe Children’s Charity, Veterans at Ease, Leeds Mind, Candlelighters and Alzheimer’s Research UK. This year saw more than £60,000 raised for partner charities.
