Each year, around 150 children in Yorkshire are diagnosed with cancer. For every one of those children — and their loved ones — Candlelighters is there. Their mission is simple yet powerful: to bring light and hope to every family impacted by childhood cancer.

Candlelighters supports families through some of their toughest days, offering emotional, practical, and financial help when it’s needed most. From family support workers and hospital-based play specialists to financial assistance and respite breaks, their work eases the burden so families can focus on what truly matters — being together.
